Job Description

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
  • Perform audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
  • Ensure that financial information complies with IFRS, local accounting, and regulatory standards.
  • Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as prepare reports.
  • Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
  • Gather supporting documentation and perform recordkeeping.
  • Track and maintain fixed asset ledger by coordinating with IT and Accounts Payable; prepare schedules for reporting of fixed assets.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly variance analyses.
  • Consolidation, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.
  • Balance Sheet Account reconciliations.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual tax filing.
  • Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management.
  • Play a key role in external and internal audits.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 7 years of experience in different accounting functions (receivables/payables/GL).
  • Experienced in complying with local and international accounting standards.
  • Very good commands in English.
  • Very good commands in MS Excel.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Very good analytical skills and details oriented.
  • Industrial/ FMCG background.
  • ERP SAP knowledge is an advantage

Job Title: Tax Accountant

Experience Needed: 2 to 4 years

Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Job Description

  • Update and analyze both individual and company tax files for comprehensiveness and exactness.                                                     
  • Receive, reviewing & reconcile the balances of different tax types at the monthly closing.                                
  • Prepare the required analyses and documents needed for the different kinds of tax inspections.
  • Analyze and support the preparation of the monthly sales tax returns.                                                                                                                                                           
  • Review legality related to required tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Prepare different tax reports required by the management.                                                                                                                                 
  • Creating and updating the company tax database for its customers and suppliers, and reviewing them on a regular basis                                                                               
  • Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities and external auditors.
  • Maintaining the company’s archiving system

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience in a similar role from 2-4 years.
  • Industries experience (Preferable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ERP SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience in Egyptian tax law and its applications
