Amreyah Cement Company Social Programs:

Our Social Investment Programs are based on 4 pillars:

  • Ideal Infant (Projects from 0 – 6 Years)
  • Ideal School (Projects from 06 – 16 Years)

 

  • Ideal Future (Projects from 16 – 30 Years)
  • Ideal Volunteer, that includes the following activities

1-Ideal Volunteer Program:

Day of Doing Good:

  • Intercement implements this Volunteer Activity on annual basis in cities where its plants are located.
  • This day depends on the volunteering of the company employees to help in developing and improving the local community institutions.
  • Amreyah Cement Company implemented the “Day of Doing Good” during the last 3 years (2013, 2014 and 2015) in the areas of Borg El Arab , King Mariout and Gharbaneyat.
  • For 2016, Amreyah will hold the “Day of Doing Good” on Sep. 24th ; We will renovate 3 Projects (2 Nurseries and 1 Orphanage) located in Borg El Arab and 1 Girls School in Alexandria.

Volunteering activities since 2013 till present:  

  • Blankets distribution Campaign.
  • Orphan Day celebration.
  • Distributing Ramadan bags.
  • Blood donation campaign.
  • Celebrating the "Day of Doing Good rehabilitation" of some educational structures located in Borg El Arab City, Special Needs structures and Women Social Activities Structures.
  • Clothes campaign for children from 04 – 12 years.
  • Environment awareness campaigns.
2-Ideal Future Program “Future Builders Project”:

Amreyah Cement Company started the establishment of “Future Builders Project”. 

The project aims to address youth employability and the supply side of the employment and job creation equation in Borg El Arab City.

The duration of the project is 2.5 years starting in 2015 and ends in 2017.

 The project budget is estimated by EGP 1,600,000.00.

Project Objectives:

  • Youth of Borg El Arab City to become capacitated for enrollment in vocational and soft skills training programs required to start their career;
  • Increasing employability among the youth of Borg El Arab City.
  • Youth Enhancing the youth entrepreneurship skills and qualifying them for access to microloans.
  • Local NGOs capacitated to support the project and sustain its results

 

Beneficiaries:

200 Youth - [both Genders]

3-Open Doors Program:

This program is part of the initiatives to engage stakeholders such as ( clients, employees' families, educational institutions, media and local community).

 Company organizes visits for the stakeholders in order to make a proper introduction for Cement Industry, Safety & Occupational Health regulations applicable and followed at the site.

The visit includes also a site visit were the visitors can see the production lines, packing areas and the packaging facility.

Program Objective:

  • Reducing the negative perception of the community towards the company.
  • Increasing the involvement of the company with the community.
 
  • Presenting the company to our stakeholders.
  • Introducing and explaining cement industry and production process.
